Terms of use

The terms on which this website is published, and what it is and is not.

What this site is

allstarinjury.com is published by All Star Injury Attorneys. It is attorney advertising. It exists to explain how California injury claims work and to let people contact the firm.

Everything here is general information about California law. It is not advice about your situation, and nobody should act or refrain from acting on the basis of it without speaking to a lawyer about their own facts. Law changes, and the application of a general rule to a specific set of facts is the entire job.

Each page carries the date its content was reviewed. We cite the code section behind legal statements so you can check them, and if you find something out of date or wrong we would be glad to hear about it.

No attorney-client relationship

Reading this site, submitting a form, or calling us does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship begins only when we and you both sign a written representation agreement. Until then, we are not your lawyers and we are not acting on your behalf — which matters, because deadlines keep running regardless.

No guarantees

Nothing on this site promises, predicts or guarantees any outcome. Every case turns on its own facts, and prior results in other matters do not indicate what will happen in yours. California's rules of professional conduct prohibit lawyers from guaranteeing outcomes, and we agree with the rule.

Using the tools

The deadline checker, loss worksheet and lost wage calculator are educational. They run entirely in your browser and send nothing to us. They apply general rules and cannot see the facts that change deadlines — delayed discovery, a defendant who left the state, multiple kinds of defendant, tolling. Do not rely on them in place of advice.

Links to other sites are for convenience; we do not control them and are not responsible for them. To the fullest extent the law allows, the firm is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site. These terms are governed by California law, and the courts of Orange County, California have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

We may change the content of this site at any time. The review date on each page tells you when its content was last checked.

Reviewed October 2026 by Simon Aziz Budhwani, Esq., the attorney responsible for this site. Legal statements here name the California code section they rely on, so you can check them rather than trust them. This is information about the law in general, not advice about your situation.
