Anaheim injury lawyer
Anaheim has a resident population around 350,000 and tens of millions of visitors a year. That combination produces a specific injury profile: unfamiliar drivers, enormous pedestrian volumes, and a concentration of commercial premises liability unlike anywhere else in the county.

The visitor effect
A large share of drivers in the resort district have never driven these roads before. They are in hire cars, following a satnav, looking for a hotel entrance, and making sudden lane changes and unexpected turns. Harbor Boulevard and Katella Avenue at the junctions serving the parks are where that concentrates.
Pedestrian volumes there are closer to a city center than a suburb, and families crossing from hotels to park entrances dominate. We see pedestrian and hotel-shuttle collisions from this corridor more than from anywhere else in Orange County.
Premises claims in a visitor economy
Hotels, restaurants, the convention center, the stadium and the arena generate the other half of what we see here: falls on wet lobby and pool-deck surfaces, parking lot and structure injuries, escalator and curb falls, and injuries at events.
These are premises liability claims, which turn on notice — whether the operator knew or should have known about the hazard. Large commercial operators here usually have inspection logs, incident reporting systems and extensive camera coverage, all of which help enormously if preserved and are gone within weeks if not.
Where the claim is handled
Orange County civil cases are heard at the Orange County Superior Court, Central Justice Center, 700 Civic Center Drive West, Santa Ana, CA 92701 — about twenty minutes from central Anaheim. Collisions on the 5, the 57 and the 91 are generally reported by the CHP's Santa Ana Area office rather than Anaheim PD, which matters because the two produce different reports and different follow-up routes.
Questions people ask
I was hurt visiting Anaheim and I live in another state. Can I still make a claim?
Yes. California law governs because the injury happened here, and the great majority of a claim is handled by phone, email and mail. The urgent part is preserving the incident report and camera footage before the property's system overwrites it, which can be within two weeks.
The driver who hit me was in a hire car.
That is usually helpful rather than harmful. Rental vehicles carry liability cover, the driver's own policy often extends to a rental, and credit card or travel policies can add another layer. Their being from out of state does not prevent the claim.
I fell at a hotel. What should I do first?
Report it before you leave and get an incident report number, photograph the hazard immediately, and ask in writing that the camera footage be preserved. Hotel systems commonly overwrite within two to four weeks, and that footage is frequently the whole case.
